Program Overview
This professional development course prepares educators to understand, evaluate, and apply artificial intelligence responsibly within their classrooms. It provides both conceptual literacy and practical workflows so teachers can use AI to enhance instructional design, manage AI-related challenges, and support student learning safely and ethically.
Teachers begin with zero assumed AI literacy and progress toward confident, critical use. The course emphasizes professional empowerment — helping teachers strengthen rather than replace their expertise.
Format: 4-week, 8-lesson, 16-hour live online professional development
Certification: Helicon Certification in AI-Integrated Pedagogy (PD-credit eligible)
Audience: K–12 and higher-ed educators; no prior AI experience required
